Some drawings from my life drawing class.  The first two were from Monday, 40 minutes each.  The third is from last class, an hour and a half for that one. First is in vine charcoal, second is in conté, third is in vine and char-kole. I drew something for my new friend because I have been admiring her drawing style and the design of Cibex for years I decided the best thing to do would be to give her the dopiest smile ever. :D For send-in-the-snails c:

FINALLY getting around to uploading these - these were my final project for my Drawing 102 class the semester before last.  We had to draw our face five times with different facial expressions, and had to include text in some way. I dislike self portraits when I have to draw my face realistically.  Guh.  It doesn&#8217;t help that I&#8217;m trying to learn how to freehand drawing faces, so they end up looking kinda wonky haha. Prismacolor chalk pastel Some of these are inspired by things, IF YOU COULDN&#8217;T TELL XD FINALLY getting around to uploading these - these were my final project for my Drawing 102 class the semester before last.  We had to draw our face five times with different facial expressions, and had to include text in some way. Last weekend, my lovely friend Ashley came over and posed nude for me so I could get some drawing practice and she could feel more comfortable with her body c: I&#8217;m just a leeetle rusty, so that top one didn&#8217;t come out so great, but the bottom one I like. :] This was a really great experience, I&#8217;m so glad we were able to do this. Last weekend, my lovely friend Ashley came over and posed nude for me so I could get some drawing practice and she could feel more comfortable with her body c: I&#8217;m just a leeetle rusty, so that top one didn&#8217;t come out so great, but the bottom one I like. :] This was a really great experience, I&#8217;m so glad we were able to do this.

Last night I decided to try doing a &#8220;speedpaint&#8221; of Medley, to practice skin tones. I ended up working on it until 5 AM, hah.  Oh well, usually I take days/weeks to do paintings, so that&#8217;s speedier than normal for me! Critiques are welcome, since I may touch it up. photo I worked from
